Tulane hullabaloo
Volume 113
Number 15
Tulane University
The Tulane Hullabaloo sub-collection consists of student newspapers produced at Tulane University in the 19th-21st centuries. The Tulane Weekly began publication in 1905, following previous campus newspapers College Spirit (1894-1897) and Olive and Blue (1896-1906). The Tulane Weekly (1905-December 19, 1919) was published for almost fifteen years before being renamed The Tulane Hullabaloo (January 16, 1920). It has published continuously since 1905, with the exception of a four-month hiatus in Fall 1918 due to World War I, and another hiatus (in print) in Fall 2005 due to Hurricane Katrina. Archival copies of the newspapers are housed in University Archives, Special Collections; users may access microfilm copies in Howard-Tilton Memorial Library.
