Cassimere and Rogers discuss many protests put on by the NAACP and what they did in the community. Cassimere describes his protests against Coca-Cola and other businesses and leaders.
At the start of the interview Rogers and Cassimere are discussing when Cassimere joined the NAACP and what he did when he first started there. Cassimere says he got involved in Voter registration, sit-ins, and desegregation. Cassimere tells a few stories about different experiences he's had while working with the NAACP. He describes some of the protests he was involved in and the status of some of the NAACP while he was there. Cassimere also talks about a few of the leaders and corporations they fought against such as Coca-Cola.
