Jerome Smith talks about Tambourine and Fan, and he mentions how an anonymous gift allowed them to purchase a building for that organization. He discusses Tambourine and Fan in more detail. He describes his work as a "community organizer," which he sees as an extension of his CORE fieldwork. He explains that what defines his work the most are his efforts to work to "give every child a chance."
