Dent tells stories about his expireince in literature and working with a team to create his own newspaper. He talks about his time with a psycologists and how it has helped him. Dent also touches on the struggles he faced when writing and how he felt at the time.
The interview begins with Dent telling a story about the start of Umbra, his newspaper. Dent talks about how he moved to the lower east side of New York and how his group came together. He touches on what the lower east side was like and the people who were there. He talks about Chris [Hurnton?] and David Henderson and talks about how they got together to form a writing workshop and publish a magazine. He says that was the start of Umbra. He talks about how he met with Thomas [[Braybury?]?] who was a psychologist. Dent talks about his sessions talking with [Braybury?] and what he learned from it. He talks about how he was inspired by [Braybury?]. He talks about his temperament while he was younger and how he was shy. Dent says his biggest problem as a writer is the struggle of relating his cultural experiences in the world of literature. He talks about how he had to believe in the authority of his stories.
