Dent talks about his experience as a black writer and touches on some of the psychology and philosophy he has picked up over the years. He tells a story about a time he went to Africa and learned more about the culture there.
This interview begins with Dent talking about his experience as a black writer. He talks about how he's always had dreams of being in transit and tries to interpret it. He says he also interprets himself as a messenger. He talks about some writing he had in his head about rivers. He talks about some psychology that he has picked up on over the years. Dent tells a story about his trip to Africa and a guy named Gabriel who he went on a long trip looking for. He says he learned a lot about other civilizations on that trip. The interview ends with some small talk between Dent and Rogers.
