This interview start off talking about Castle-Scott's sister Oretha. Castle-Scott talks about how most of the things she did and people she met were because of her sister. They then talk about Castle-Scott's role in CORE and some of her strongest memories. the interview end with her telling a story about her sisters pregnancy.
At the start of this interview Rogers and Castle-Scott are discussing her sister Oretha and the mindset of people she has interacted with. Castle-Scott starts to describe some of the people she has worked with following her sister. She talks about a trip to Chicago where after being there for a few days she learned that her sister was arrested for picketing. Castle-Scott names people James T. McCain, Richard Haley, Marvin Rich, Gordon Gary, and James Farmer and says they were going to start a CORE chapter and organize demonstrations. She says she and her sister were enablers in the group and they played an important role. Rogers then asks what were her strongest memories in CORE and she says it was when they first decided to go on a freedom ride. The interview concludes with Castle-Scott telling a story about how Oretha had her unknown pregnancy.
