A letter from Samuel T. Daw to "Friends" that he wrote while Daniel P. Mason and he were stationed at Camp Parapet in Carrollton, Louisiana. In his letter, Samuel reports that Daniel (P. Mason) and he are doing well and that Daniel is "as fat a hog" since they are being fed really well. He goes on to write that they may be home by June 15th if nothing happens.
