A Square Deal Composition notebook containing newspaper articles, excerpts from books, poems and typed prose. Junior Group Lessons 1-9 are glued to random pages of the notebook. Notebook also contains a typed copy of a scene from Uncle Tom's Cabin and The Honest Woodman. Towards the end of the notebook on page 43 is a copy of the Pledge of Allegiance typed on New Orleans Federation of Women's Clubs stationary. Pledge is accompanied by a poem by Mary Bray called, Gold-Star Mother.
