A large group in church. Written on verso: "The Anchorage Congregation. Taken at the close of a recent Sunday evening service. There were people on the right who are not shown in the picture. Painted on a card in the foreground is the hymn 'God's trumpet wakes the slumbering world,' from the Pilgrim Hymnal. As I only have a few books I print the words of our hymns on large cards, which are hung so that all can see them. Our room measures 35 by 24 feet and is frequently crowded on Sunday Evenings.
