Drawing of the hieroglyphic text on the East panel, Temple of the Inscriptions. According to Linda Schele, this portion of the inscription records the accessions and period endings in the dynastic history of eight early lords of Palenque in the manner of a k'atun history that ranged between 9.4.0.0.0 (16 October, 514 CE) and 9.10.0.0.0. (25 January, 633 CE).
