Description

Boucher de Monbrun was the son of Jean Ètienne Boucher de Monbrun and his wife Françoise Charet. Mlle Petit de Coulagne was the daughter of Louis Petit, Sieur de Coulange, and his wife Françoise Gallard Chamilly. A number of high-ranking colonial officials and private citizens appeared as witnesses to the signing of the contract. The agreement concerned the bride's dowry and the future status of property each person was to bring to the marriage.
