Estevan Boré [Etienne de Boré] stated that on the property he owned there was insufficient timber for construction of necessary buildings. Behind his land was a tract that belonged to the Crown. He requested title to this section and asked for permission to have the Royal Surveyor Carlos Trudeau measure the land and establish boundaries.
