Handwritten, bound ledger listing students enrolled in collegiate coursework during the sessions 1878-1879 through 1898-1899. Ledger includes pages with columns for name, address, date of birth, place of birth, date of entering, subjects of studies, parent or guardian, and remarks. Student names are not consistently arranged alphabetically until the 1885-1886 session. Early years list individual subjects taken in the studies column (English, French, Math, Physics, German, Chemistry, e.g.), while later years list the course of study undertaken (Sophomore Class, Commercial Course; Freshman Class, Mechanical Engineering; Senior, Literary, e.g.). The remarks column generally contains notations such as "Scholarship" or "Left at end of 1st Quarter." The ledger also contains erroneously entered names of preparatory/high school students which were crossed out (pages 7-9), and it includes the names of students registered for Law coursework during the sessions 1885-1886 (page 28), 1886-1887 (page 33), 1887-1888 (page 35), and 1888-1889 (page 49).
